Private Dog Training Lessons and Obedience Training
When it comes to canine behavior, we’d all like our dogs to act a certain way and respond accordingly to commands and basic tricks. However, not all canines are the same; some dogs tend to nip more than others, don’t respond to commands, and seem to go out of their way to misbehave. But remember that dogs don’t act out of line on purpose or to spite you—all they need is guidance and steps in the right direction to better their behavior.
Evaluation
It all starts with an in-home consultation and evaluation, where one of our professional trainers gets to know you and your dog. This session helps us understand your goals and tailor a training plan that fits your dog’s unique needs. Our programs are personalized to improve behavior, build confidence, support emotional well-being, and encourage better socialization with other dogs.
Private Lessons & Packages
After your initial evaluation we offer private lessons that are approximately one hour. Lessons will be at an agreed upon location depending on the needs of you and your dog.
Our private lesson programs are performance-based, not limited by lesson count, but focused on achieving real results. Dogs must qualify, and owners are expected to follow through with homework. If you're committed, we’re with you until your goal is reached.
We may recommend the use of training tools and a treat pouch.
Puppy Foundations (Under 5 Months)
Introduces crate and potty training, socialization, handling, leash manners, name recognition, basic commands (sit, down, stay), place command, focus, and impulse control.
Beginner Obedience (6+ Months)
Covers proper greetings, sit-wait, down-wait, loose leash walking, recall on a long line, place command, "leave it," and threshold manners.
Intermediate Obedience (6+ Months)
Builds on Beginner skills with added focus on public training scenarios, increased duration, and distance of exercises.
Advanced Obedience (6+ Months)
Expands Intermediate skills to include off-leash recalls, advanced public scenarios, and e-collar conditioning.
Behavior Modification (6+ Months)
Customized training plans to address behavioral challenges such as reactivity, anxiety, or aggression. Includes Intermediate or Advanced Obedience. Offered on a case-by-case basis—please contact us to discuss your dog’s needs.
